Well, here is the progress, got the front end stripped down. New axle with 5:29 gears, Detroit, Longfield axles and birfs, new springs, new hubs, crossover steering, hydro assist and a few other tricks.

Sounds like a good start. Those yota axles are strong to start with.
Jeep look`s nice next to it.

I have gotten the front axle in, most of the steering has been taken care of. I just need to mount the ifs box. Rear axle is getting swapped out this weekend hopefully...
I ordered a Marlin Clutch so that will be going in next week sometime maybe. I also ordered a dual adapter for running dual t-cases. I don`t know when that will be in...

Oh, the jeep is a 1974 CJ5, 2 owners...both in the same family. Skyjacker 3" lift, 31`s, locker in the rear, centerforce clutch etc etc etc. It is my stepdad`s officially but I am the only one that drives it really. I am about ready to confiscate it and turn it into a daily ride!
